John has 30 years' experience leading start-ups, turnarounds, mergers & acquisitions. A graduate of Cambridge University & Harvard Business School, John began his career with UK retailer Marks & Spencer before joining McKinsey. He was part of the leadership team steering the 1997 merger with Guinness, later heading up strategic planning for Diageo.

In 2003, John joined Royal Numico, Europe's leading infant & medical nutrition company where he ran the Emerging Markets Division, comprising Aisa-Pacific, Africa Middle East & Latin America. He completed four acquisitions & created an Export division covering 70 additional markets, helping to triple Numico's organic growth rate & drive a ten-fold increase in the share price, culminating in acquisition by Danone late 2007.

In 2009, John was appointed President of Daone's Dairy Divistion in Asia-Pacific, Middle East & sub-Saharan Africa, covering over 20 countries. During this time he built teams & opened factories in several new markets, including Korea, Australia, Thaliand, Iran & Iraq. Since September 2014, John has been CEO of Zuellig Pharma, Asia's leading healthcare logistic & services company, employing over 10,000 people in operations across 12 Asian countries.

John is a British citizen, based in Singapore.
