It seemed that I had high risks ahead for my career development when I decided to move to Singapore to work in the Operations and IT area, since I had been building a successful career in the Strategy and Marketing division in South Korea. A risk mitigation strategy was required and the MSc in Innovation programme caught my eye. The course has covered global business, technology trends, cultural dynamic in Southeast Asia that had helped me to cut through many challenges I have faced at work. Taking up this programme at SMU was one of the best choices I have ever made, and it now works as an enabler to shift my career to broader and diverse opportunities.
