DR LIM Chon Phung

Dr. Lim Chon Phung brings over three decades of leadership experience in the information technology industry, having served as Senior Vice President at Oracle and Vice President at Hewlett-Packard, where he oversaw operations across the Asia Pacific and Japan regions. Following his retirement from the corporate sector in 2015, he transitioned into academia, where he continues to contribute actively through teaching, research, and collaboration with industry partners.

He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology and an Executive-in-Residence at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. In addition to his academic appointments, Dr. Lim remains actively engaged in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem as an angel investor, advisor, and board member to several early-stage ventures across the region.

Dr. Lim draws upon nearly four decades of leadership and operational experience to enrich his teaching, research, and advisory work. His areas of focus include innovation, entrepreneurship, venture building, and the impact of social networks on community development and organizational performance.

He holds dual bachelor's degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Ph.D. in General Management from Singapore Management University.
