Graduates from the Lee Kong Chian School of Business are highly sought after by employers and enjoy attractive and competitive career prospects spanning multiple industries. The employability of our graduates is evident in the results of the Graduate Employment Survey (GES) that is jointly conducted by the Ministry of Education, SMU, NUS, NTU, SIT, SUSS, and SUTD.
Based on the GES 2022, 94.3% of our SMU BBM graduates gained employment within 6 months of graduation. Among those in full-time employment, 58% received at least 2 full-time job offers.

Pearlynn is the recipient of the ABS Outstanding Graduating Business Student Award. Her university years were largely shaped by her time in the SMUXploration Crew, particularly with the Skating Team. One of the internships that Pearlynn did was with UBS. After graduation, she completed the 2-year Graduate Talent Programme with the company, and is now a Tech Engineer in the Group Operations and Technology Office.

To qualify for a place on the Dean's List, a student would have met the following requirements:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or better over the 2 consecutive regular terms during 1 academic year (excluding Term 3),
- Have no grade lower than a C,
- Have completed 3 or more course units for letter grades (grades that are computed into GPA) in each regular term,
- Have no I grades and no disciplinary action taken against him/her during the 2 consecutive regular terms.
