Benjamin Ee

Benjamin Ee is the founder and sitting CEO of Lucent Investment Associates, which is a registered fund management company regulated by the MAS. Lucent Investment Associates is currently fund manager to 4 funds, the majority of which employ a quantitative investment style on global markets, and with a combined AUM in excess of 30M.

Prior to founding Lucent, Benjamin worked at global quantitative hedge funds including WorldQuant (on Millennium Capital platform) and Haafor (on Schonfeld Group platform).

Benjamin has a PhD in Finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. His first post PhD role was as an associate at the corporate finance practice of McKinsey & Co. Benjamin also has a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Cornell University.

In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys science fiction, and is currently re-reading works by Clarke, as well as Asimov.
