In an interview, SMU Associate Professor of Finance Fu Fangjian discussed the latest 12.5% tariffs imposed by the US on Singapore. Assoc Prof Fu explained that the effect on Singapore is minimal as Singapore is an open market and US exports account for 11.5% of exports.
