SMU has launched a Master of Science in Business AI to develop business leaders who are fluent in artificial intelligence (AI) and grounded in cross-functional business knowledge, strategy and leadership. Aligned with Singapore’s SkillsFuture and Smart Nation priorities, the programme addresses the growing need for AI capabilities and data-driven decision-making across the workforce. SMU Assistant Professor of Communication Management (Education) Sungjong Roh noted that while many organisations now have access to AI tools, far fewer have leaders who know how to use them strategically, deploy them responsibly, and create value while managing risk. The programme is designed to close this critical gap. With strong industry linkages in Singapore and across Asia, SMU aims for the programme to contribute directly to the nation’s pipeline of AI-ready business leaders.
