The UOB Kay Hian & Tianfeng Securities Internship Programme Pte Ltd was established the UOB Kay Hian China Internship and Training Grant at SMU to give SMU students exposure to the Chinese Financial Markets and equipped them with greater cultural awareness and technical capabilities to excel in the new economic realities. This internship will be performed at Tianfeng Securities Co. Ltd located in Shanghai, PR China.
The internship will be conducted in 2 phases. The first phase is a group work where interns get to understand the whole financial framework in China. Once individual intern gets familiarized with the financial system in China, they can then move on to the second phase to deep dive into their area of interest. Eventually, the interns will be assessed based on:
- Their overall understanding of the financial markets / system in China through a presentation and a Q&A session; and
- A formal report based on their area of interest.
