Asian Insights in a Real-World MBA

As part of the learning journey of our MBA Programme, we feature case studies taught in the Programme as well as other publications from our SMU academic think tank, the Centre of Management Practice (CMP).

CMP identifies, captures and disseminates new knowledge based on emerging trends, best practices and cutting-edge business models operating in Asia’s fast-changing and dynamic markets. CMP accomplishes its role through the development and publication of case studies, journal articles and other periodical content. These cases provide our MBA students with valuable insights about the political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental outlook in Asia.

CMP highlights

  • Over 100,000 hits and counting for the bi-annual journal Asian Management Insights
  • Over 150 published case studies used by 120+ universities and corporates worldwide.
  • Top 14 most downloaded cases from the Case Centre on inclusive business models
  • Winner of the 2015 EFMD Case Writing Competition, in the Urban Challenges and Entrepreneurship categories
