Can I work while on a student pass?
Yes, you can work while on a student pass, but there are certain conditions and restrictions. Please refer to the following guidelines to ensure compliance with the regulations: Guidelines for Working on a Student Pass.
Do I need to apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) if I hold a valid Long-Term Visit Pass, Dependant's Pass, or Immigration Exemption Order?
Effective November 15, 2023, holders of valid Long-Term Visit Passes, Dependant's Passes, and Immigration Exemption Orders are not required to obtain a Student's Pass to pursue full-time, non-religious studies.
Students may enrol in any school within the duration of their existing pass. If the pass expires or is cancelled during their studies, they must apply for a Student's Pass to continue. The prevailing Student's Pass eligibility criteria will apply.
How can I extend or renew my Student Pass?
If you need to extend your Student's Pass beyond the initial course duration, please contact your programme office for assistance.
How can I obtain a supporting letter to apply for National Service (NS) deferment from the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) or Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in Singapore?
To obtain a supporting letter for NS deferment, please write to your individual programme office and submit your reservist call-up letter.
